Pony Express California

There was a layover in Folsom, California for a teaching moment at a Pony Express historical landmark. The final destination at Old Sacramento State Historic Park received a second riderless horse ceremony before proceeding to the business of unlocking the mail. Each letter was carefully hand cancelled by United States Postal Service employees. Members of the public can obtain such a souvenir by sending a letter via the Re-Ride.
