Cleveland Ave., Chicago 1968

I worked in a community organization on Cleveland Avenue.  These photographs were all taken within about three blocks of the storefront office.  It was a small and poor but vibrant neighborhood that was working to keep from being swallowed up by commercial enterprises that surrounded the neighborhood.
